Hello George: Wow getting the news on Vince was kind of a shock. I'll be going out to some of my connects to see how he is doing. I played alot of polo with Vinces' other two sons, who were also quite good. Mikes' star was on the rise at that time, and he was not around LA too much back then.
I actually started jumping horses on my days off from Polo for fun and relaxation--was constantly getting yelled at by my coaches at horse shows "Stop Looking for that Polo Ball!".
Any one who calls our wonderful polo ponies "Skinny Little Midgets", when I'm around had better WATCH OUT! Not taking one second of crap from those horse show women. Ha Ha!
So you can see I need that meditation session immediatly.
Hello George: Shine on with that Positivity! Great to see someone smiling and clearly enjoying life. I was raised in Rhode Island, and starting my polo career there in Newport, RI in 1985 as a groom brushing horses etc. Moved to California in 1988 and landed a job as a groom for the LA Stars working for Vince Azzaro-what a blast that was--non stop playing, fun, tournaments etc. Put togther 3 of my own horses and played in LA, Oxnard and Santa Barbara CA. Now all grown up and working with alot less fun! I switched to show jumping which I also enjoy a great deal. Nothing like blasting off over a big jump on a really good horse. Back to work now to earn more $$ to buy more horses etc etc etc.
I have heard of Jim De Angelis, but do not know him personally. Polo in Newport has a great following from the town and a large audience each week. It's a really good venue for regualr players to get into a game in front of a large audience.
Hi George, is it a coincidence or is there something going on there with you?, I have spotted already 2 alledged mistresses of TIGER WOODS: Theresa Rogers AND Loredana Joliin your photo album.. are you going for second hand or are you trying to keep the focus OFF TIGER by keeping it ON YOU? Looking forward to see you! Have fun with them tigar babes!! Emile
