Abbey Walmsley Fine Art launches new website prior to exclusive Mayfair Exhibition

The new website highlights the new genre of Dynamic Realism to the international art collecting community. The content informs collectors of the benefits gained by working with the artist directly to produce their bespoke vision as a piece of unique art with a timeless quality. Viewers will also be able to see many of the key works to be featured in the Mayfair exhibition in March.

The website has been developed to present a clearer message to collectors and to firmly establish Dynamic Realism in the wider market place. Abbey Walmsley Fine Art is uniquely positioned in the market to expose clients to an artistic quality not available through normal high-end galleries. The technical artistic requirements of Dynamic Realism are extraordinarily high, with only 5-7 works being produced a year.

J’ai découvert le polo en France pendant les années 1990, je suis étonné comme le polo c’est peut joueur en tous les coins de la France. Bien sur que pour nous les argentins, spécialement, pour ceux qui nous sommes membres du Jockey notre maison de polo en France c’est Bagatelle, la relation entre les deux clubs a commencé avant la Grand Guerre, et aussi c’est le cas du Polo Deauville. Mais de toute façon je trouve fantastique Chantilly, l’ancien domaine des Bourbon Condé et Conti, je trouve que c’est un des meilleurs clubs de polo en France, j’irai surement pour les tournois de printemps en 2010, je reste toujours a Vaux, mais ce n’est pas très loin. J’espère vous voir pendant ma visite, à très bientôt.

nous espérons plein de joueurs dans le nouveau club des Alpilles pour cette prochaine

nous sommes une bande de jeunes joueurs de bon niveau
le club est très sympa, l'accueil possible pour des week end complets avec polo, piscine et balade

The 1986-1987 Cartier Polo Retrospective

The 1986-1987 exhibit “POLO IN AMERICA, A Retrospective Exhibition of Polo in the United States,” Organized and Sponsored by Cartier, Inc., in Palm Beach, brought together an unprecedented collection of historically important polo art and memorabilia. This exhibit was considered to be of such international importance that it was re-created for one month as a "polo museum" on the second floor of Cartier's historic Fifth Avenue building in June 1987.

Jeanne Chisholm endeavored exhaustively to get the vast majority of the objects lent to these exhibits donated to the permanent collection of the proposed National Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame in Lake Worth, Florida. Yet while they are still housed by the museum, most of them are not currently on display. It is our hope that soon they will be on view once again after proper cataloguing and archiving.

In its continued effort to serve the polo community, the Chisholm Gallery has posted a link to the original website cataloguing this important event, and will maintain this archive in conjunction with the Chisholm Gallery website.
