HI, am looking at a saddle that looks very nice, the only diffrence is that the main flap is much narrower than the regular shaped flaps on polo saddles. Apparently this is the "new style" and Cambiaso is using this shape saddle now... anyone had any experience using this narrower flap style saddle and what is the difference? Thanks!
Only 30 yards has that type of flaps, and Cambiaso is not using those, he use the normal suede ones here in Argentina. I have my own brand, we make saddles for Nico Pieres, we know what is good for the horse and the rider, the small flap is not one of those things maybe is cheaper because use less leather than others, but I don´t think is nicer.
And is not a new style neither, 30 yards has been doing this kind of saddles since they start.
Hope to be clear with this, don´t believe in what the sellers said, just trust in your opinion and what you know that is comfortable for you. Not everyone like the same and ride as Cambiaso.
See you
I think on this point, whilst I would like to see everyone know more about their horses and how to tack up etc you would not be asked during a driving test to change the oil or a tyre. The idea for a patron to come in and pay to play and get on with…
